Psychotherapy

Ever wondered why you may be repeating a pattern over and wondering how you got there again.

This is usually due to a past unresolved issue that may not be in the persons’ conscious awareness or may be recurring as the underlying issue has not yet been identified and dealt with.

Psychotherapy assists clients to identify the connections between past events and present issues; revisiting beliefs and decisions previously made and updating these as required to enable more lasting change.

Therapists can use a variety of tools to assist the client to achieve this, including but not limited to, Stages of Personal Development, ReParenting, Timeline Therapy, Personality Adaptations, Coaching, Personal Drivers; EGO States and/or chair work.

Therapy can give clients insight into their internal and external worlds, including how they think, behave and see themselves and their relationships with others, assisting the client to gain an awareness, provide options and enable change.

Psychotherapy is generally of longer duration to counselling as it requires deeper exploration and recognition of a person’s life experiences; how beliefs were created and how these are impacting on current and future experiences.

Often the identification of the beliefs and links is healing in itself.
